Karen began her career as a teacher and principal and transitioned into the practice of law in 2016. Karen began working as an attorney in a creditor’s rights firm, gaining solid experience on the Plaintiff’s side of consumer law. Following this, she worked as an assistant attorney general where she handled over thirty trials from initial appearance to resolution. Subsequently, as a partner at a bankruptcy law firm, Karen led the student loan litigation department where she championed multiple complete student loan discharges and successfully negotiated student loan settlements—saving her clients over $800,000 in student loan debt in her last year there.
Here at Loose Law Group, Karen practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, business law, and commercial transactions, with a particularly strong emphasis on negotiations, advocacy, and research and writing.
Outside of work, Karen is married with four grown children, one completely perfect grandson, and a very spoiled Australian cattle dog. She is an Arizona native and loves her Suns and Wildcats, even in the lean years.
