Although there are some exceptions, most employers can mandate that employees must get the COVID-19 vaccine and they can require proof of the vaccinations.  However, by mandating, employers may back themselves into a legal corner that could cost them valuable employees.

Rather than taking the hard line of terminating workers who do not get the vaccine, perhaps they would find it more advantageous to encourage their employees and/or incentivize them to get vaccinated.
