Amy has been a part of Loose Law Group since its inception. After spending a few years at the firm, she left to start her family and continued on with the firm as a freelance paralegal. Eventually, Amy continued her educational path and became an attorney and has frequently taken on projects for Loose Law Group. Amy has an extensive background in several areas of the law, and has narrowed her practice to estate planning, probate, conservatorships, and accident law.
Amy truly enjoys helping others with their legal issues. She developed a passion for the practice of law at a young age when she began her career in the legal field as a file clerk at the age of 16. She trained as a legal secretary while in high school and earned her paralegal certificate after she completed her B.S. from Arizona State University. She spent many years working as a paralegal while raising her family and helping her husband with his dental practice. As her kids grew up, she eventually returned to law school to complete her career goals.
Her legal career as a file clerk, legal secretary, and paralegal allowed her to work in several legal areas, but two particular areas of the law, estate planning and accident law, allowed Amy the opportunity to do what she loves most as an attorney: helping others. She has extensive experience working with clients in the area of will and trust preparation, probate and trust administration, as well as with accident law, including car accidents, slips and falls, dog bites, bicycle and motorcycle accidents.
Professionally, Amy is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and admitted to practice before the Arizona Supreme Court, the US District Court (Arizona), and the United States Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit. As a local volunteer, Amy is often at Wills for Heroes, helping our officers and firefighters with their estate planning needs, or she can be seen on ABC15 Arizona, volunteering in the phone bank on the “Let Joe Know” show.
Personally, Amy has been married to her husband, David, for 39 years, and has three amazing adult children. Since the kids all left Arizona to pursue their own careers, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and their Keeshond, Lucy, and Pomeranian, Ruby.
