Will you visit our practice in person?

Yes. Every client is unique. Meeting you and your team in person is vital in the discovery phase where we audit what you currently having in place. Also, intensive training and deploying new process and fundamentals of teamwork often require on-site visits.

How often will we communicate?

We will customize and personalize communication plans that work for both parties. You will have direct access to Elevate.

Will I have direct contact if I need something?

Yes, you will have our direct contact information.

Do you help with execution, or is it strictly consulting?

Implementation is key to success. We can’t execute the process for you but we will make sure to help you develop a team that is capable and coach them along the way.

What’s the most important service you provide practices like mine?

The most important service we provide will be establishing a process to increase your sales. Increased revenues and higher customer average lifetime value typically brings the most impact for any practice. Simply by their nature, most practices neglects sales processes and leave a lot of money on the table.

Do you use any special software or technology? Any requirements on my end?

Yes. One example where our best practices see the most benefit is from live cameras in their offices to record visitations. This gives us more coachable material for continuous refinements. We also use Dropbox to easily send and receive larger files.

Do you have any special methodologies or systems that you believe in?

We believe that many dental practices spend too much money on CE (Capital Equipment) and don’t invest enough time and money into learning how to sell. We have an effective and definitive sales process that will be a key to your success.

What are the initial steps you’ll take to audit our weak and strong areas?

Our initial steps will be to evaluate your operation live. We visit your practice, turn over stones, interview staff and investigate all of your existing processes. We believe this is the best way to fully gauge the effectiveness of your practice – to figure out what’s working and what isn’t.

How will you come to learn about my local marketplace, and our position in that market?

We only work with “high-end” dental practices. Typically, we can learn what we need to know through auditing your practice, interviewing staff, and understanding the service mix you’re offering. Occasionally, we’ll venture out and “secret shop” your competition by inquiring about services, costs, and otherwise.

What is the lowest cost option for us to try you out?

All of our services are customized to each and individual client. Let’s discuss what you’re looking for and what your practice needs are. Those who work with us generally have an “investment” mindset rather than a “cost” mindset. If you don’t believe that our involvement will bring ROI (increased revenue, higher value cases, etc.) then you may not be a great fit for Elevate.

Do you provide financial evaluations?

Yes, we have the ability to assess your business plan and help set the appropriate goals for your practice. This involves a detailed analysis of your financial situation, budgets and projections.

Exactly how can you help my practice run better?

Our main focus is on implementing an effective and proven sales process. Processes enable you and your team to maximize efficiency while freeing you up for higher level, more important activities – like high value cases (and vacations with your family!)

I need more customers. How can you help?

We can help with bringing new customers in the door, but more often it’s about increasing the average value of the customers you have. By increasing the value of each customer to your business, your business can grow even without a rapid increase in customer numbers – earn more revenue by doing less work.

I believe there’s incredible opportunity in our market for a premium brand, how would you help get us into position?

We have previous experience in brand development and have been involved in the process of our own brand as well. We do have partnerships with experts in the field that can assist in the development of your brand – brand identity, voice, messaging, etc.

Do you work with my entire team, or just ownership?

We will work closely with the ownership but spend just as much time in the trenches with your entire team to ensure that they buy into and are well-trained with new sales processes.

Do I have to attend every meeting or training session?

We’ll set up a schedule that works for everyone. We know you’re busy, but at the same time, big results will require a certain level of commitment. We set the appropriate expectations in the beginning so that efforts are met from both sides.

Can you tell me how my team is doing, and if there are any weak links I should know about?

Yes, of course. We occasionally have backchannel conversations if we find star performers (or weak links) on your team.

Exit strategy - I’m looking to sell my practice in a few years, how can you help improve valuation before I retire?

Yes, we have previous experience in sales of existing practices. When it comes practice valuation, sales is the key determinant. Driving increased revenue in a big way brings a multiplier effect on the value of your practice when it comes time to sell.

Our market is flooded with dental practices, how can we stand out?

We can assist in interviewing your team and establishing goals while tracking their performance. We want to make sure they’re willing to learn and grow together. Without a positive team dynamic, you will not get the results you are looking for.

Can you audit the technology we’re using and whether it’s a good fit?

What are the most common mistakes you see practices making when it comes to selling their services?

They don’t have a defined, consistent, team-wide sales process in place. A lot of businesses don’t understand the emotional components of making a successful sale. Without a consistent process, its very hard to provide a quality experience for your prospect and to give them the opportunity to say yes!

How much time will my team need to invest once we hire Elevate?

All plans are customized to each of our clients but on average we spend a minimum of one year with our clients. We’ll craft mutual arrangements based on your goals, plans, challenges and timelines for success.

What happens if we want to cancel our engagement with Elevate?

Business is business! We will maintain a professional relationship and try to bring value where we can. We can also recommend you to someone who may be able to help.

Do you help with hiring and firing?

Yes, we help in all areas of staffing, onboarding and training.

How much of my time will this require from me?

It will depend on your goals and the amount of time you are able to put in. We tailor our services to our client’s needs.

Can you just take over and sell our services for us?

We could, but we don’t. Our business model is about “teaching you how to fish” rather than giving you all the fish!

Can Elevate manage our practice remotely?

We help you get the right team in place and coach you throughout. In a short period of time, with our detailed processes in place, you’ll be able to master these things yourself. We will communicate remotely on a frequent basis, but do not directly manage practices at this time.

Do you offer payment plans, or a contingency fee structure?

We try to work with our clients that is able to benefit both parties. We can further discuss financing options if necessary.
