Doctors are challenging the constitutionality of an Arizona law that states doctors are prohibited from performing abortions based solely upon fetal abnormalities. The doctors contend that the statute in question is too vague. They don’t know what is prohibited and what is permissible. If the law were to be enforced, doctors could face prosecution or loss of licensure, so the 9th Circuit affirmed that the doctors have standing in bringing the suit. A decision is pending.
